Queen for a Day.....Every Day

Our Queen for the day, Myah, had the best time swimming on Father's Day.  She was dressed in the cutest pink swim suit with a tutu attached.  She also sported her crown towel for drying off.  She has become such a poser for the camera....knows just how to be cute.  Doesn't mind the camera at all.  Yesterday, she caught me taking pictures of her sister, so she quickly got in front of the camera and started hamming it up...Not to be outdone by sister.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

  1. Thanks for commenting on my blog. WOW I am so impressed with these! Can you tell me what program you used to do the peach-colored house on an earlier post?? (You can respond here, I will check back for your answer.) I would like to do this with some of my photos but need to know where to start! I have the camera and Photoshop CS4 but no painting software otherwise. Thanks!

  2. Hi Peggy, The program I use for painting is Corel Painter 11 and a Wacom tablet and stylus. I use Photoshop CS5 to make all my adjustments prior to painting and have also used the CS5 mixer brushes for some of my paintings (see Callie). I also use Topaz Filters-Adjust 4, Simplify, and Clean 2 as plug-ins in Photoshop (see The Pink House). But, I would have to say that 99% of the time I use Corel Painter 11 for all the painting. Hope this helps!

  3. Jane- thanks so much for your comment on my blog (beckyknitstoo.blogspot.com) Seeing your beautiful work, I've got to believe you laughed with whatever you were drinking spewing over the keyboard when you saw what I did! I've subscribed to your blog and can already tell there will be much inspiration to find. I've always loved the idea of collage-today I was just proud to have figured out how to sort of make that happen. I can't wait to jump in and play. Thanks again!
