Mr. Schnauzer

Here's another pet portrait from an image I saw on Public Domain Pictures.net. I thought he could use a little color, so I boosted the blues, and used traditional brush work in Corel Painter 11.  As always, I like to use Photoshop for all my adjustments.

Some days, I don't have much to say.  Today is one of those days.  I do hope that everyone is having a glorious day.

  3. Wonderful work on this, Jane. I just showed this to a friend [ he's a filmmaker, not a still photographer] and he loved it, but couldn't believe it had started out as a photograph! He's quite impressed! [ me too!]

  6. Wow, stunning color! I really love this. You are very talented. I mean, I love all art that features dogs, but this really stands out from the crowd. I was thinking about learning the processes of digital art recently, but then I got pulled in by Copic markers and I think I'll be sticking with those for a time. :o)
